The administrative community An der Finne was an administrative community in the Burgenlandkreis in the south of the state of Saxony-Anhalt . It had 20 member communities with a total of 13,351 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2006) on a total area of ​​270 km². The seat of the administrative community was Bad Bibra . The situation of most of the member communities on or near the Finns is reflected in their name .

history

The administrative community was created on January 1, 2005 initially from the former administrative communities Finne and An der Finne ( Eckartsberga headquarters ) as well as from the communities of Memleben and Wohlmirstedt from the Mittlere Unstrut administrative community, the communities Golzen and Thalwinkel from Laucha an der Unstrut and from the community Klosterhäseler , which until then belonged to the Bad Kösen administrative association . On January 1, 2007, the communities Möllern and Taugwitz also moved from the Bad Kösen administrative association to the An der Finne administrative association. On July 1, 2009, it was dissolved, the communities were combined in the newly created Verbandsgemeinde An der Finne .
