The municipalities

history

The administrative community was founded on May 21, 1992 under the name Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Mittlerer Apfelstädtgrund . Until December 30, 1997 the communities Günthersleben and Wechmar belonged to the administrative community, but left on December 31, 1997 through their merger to form the new community Günthersleben-Wechmar . On June 22, 1998, the name was changed, which gave it its last name. One day later, Schwabhausen left the administrative community because Günthersleben-Wechmar became the fulfilling municipality. On January 1, 2009, the other municipalities then merged to form the new municipality of Drei Gleichen , whereby the administrative community was dissolved.
