history
The administrative community was founded on February 24, 1992 under the name Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Warza . On December 29, 1994 it was given its current name with the admission of the communities Goldbach and Wangenheim . Brüheim, Friedrichswerth, Haina and Sonneborn were added on January 1, 1997 from the dissolved Nessetal administrative community . As part of the Thuringia regional reform in 2018 and 2019 , the administrative community was dissolved on January 1, 2019. With the exception of Sonneborn , the member communities merged to form the rural community of Nessetal . This is a fulfilling community for Sonneborn.
