The administrative community Eppingen-Gemmingen-Ittlingen (officially: Agreed administrative community of the city of Eppingen ), an agreed administrative community , has existed since August 1, 1974 between the communities of Eppingen , Gemmingen and Ittlingen . Since the administrative area created by this already had more than 20,000 inhabitants, this administrative community was given new responsibilities. Eppingen itself later exceeded this population limit and has therefore been a major district town since 2002 .
Emergence
After negotiations between the municipalities involved, the agreement on the fulfillment of the tasks of an agreed administrative community was signed by the mayors Rüdiger Peuckert (Eppingen), Reiner (Gemmingen) and Beurer (Ittlingen) on June 26, 1974 . According to this contract, the city of Eppingen has taken on the function of the “fulfilling municipality”.
function
Since the district town got Eppingen responsibilities that previously the district office were Heilbronn, this is described as "small district office" in Eppingen. The new responsibilities relate to building permits and the drawing up of the zoning plan , the area of the public order office with road traffic, administrative offenses, collection law, trade law, police law, explosives and weapons law.
organ
The "Joint Committee" is the body of the administrative community, made up of representatives of the municipalities involved.
