In the administrative community Unstrut-Hainich from the Thuringia Unstrut-Hainich district seven communities had joined forces to do their administrative business. It existed from 1993 to early 2019.

The seat of the administrative community was in Großengottern .

history

The administrative community was founded on August 20, 1993. Schönstedt was admitted on January 1, 1997. As part of the Thuringia regional reform in 2018 and 2019 , the administrative community was dissolved on January 1, 2019. The member communities - with the exception of Schönstedt - united to form the rural community of Unstrut-Hainich . This became a fulfilling community for Schönstedt. The last chairman was Bernhard Otto.
