The administrative association Landberg was an administrative association in the Saxon Weißeritzkreis , in which four communities in the western metropolitan area of ​​Dresden had initially united . The association area extended along the federal highway 173 north of the Tharandt forest . The eponymous Landberg is located on the northern edge of the forest between Mohorn and Pohrsdorf.

Some communities of the later association had already worked together before, so in 1991 the wastewater association "Obere Wilde Sau" was founded by the communities of Braunsdorf , Grumbach, Kesselsdorf and Pohrsdorf. When it was founded on May 9, 1994, the Landberg Administrative Association consisted of the following four member communities:

The administrative association had an area of ​​33.62 km² and 7589 inhabitants as of June 30, 1998. The administrative seat was Grumbach.

When it was founded, the association was still subordinate to the Freital district , after the district reform in August 1994 it belonged to the Weißeritz district. The municipality of Grumbach belonged to the administrative association from its foundation until July 8, 1998. With effect from July 9, 1998, Grumbach was incorporated into the city of Wilsdruff and thus left the association. On October 1, 1998, the remaining three parishes ended their cooperation. Pohrsdorf was incorporated into Tharandt on January 1st, 1999 . Mohorn merged with Wilsdruff on August 1, 2000, and Kesselsdorf was incorporated into Wilsdruff on August 1, 2001.
