The Veuvre (also known as the Chevré in the lower reaches ) is a river in France that runs in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in the Brittany region . It rises under the name Ruisseau de Cussé in the eastern municipal area of Saint-Christophe-des-Bois , generally drains in a south-westerly direction and flows 43 kilometers into the municipality of Acigné as a right tributary into the Vilaine .
