Victor Pfaff
Victor Pfaff (born January 19, 1941 in Stuttgart ) is a lawyer specializing in asylum and immigration law who co-founded the Pro Asyl association in 1986 . In 1996 he received the Hermann Kesten Medal for his work .
Life
Victor Pfaff studied in Heidelberg and Berlin law . In Heidelberg he founded the Republican Club and the Rote Robe magazine , which later became an organ of the KBW . Because of his KBW membership, he lost his job as a teacher at the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences in the mid-1970s . His candidacy for the KBW in the 1974 state election in Hesse was not approved by the state election committee on the grounds that “he was only registered with his secondary residence in Darmstadt”. Pfaff specialized early on in immigration and asylum law. a. wrote articles in the Red Robe and the CPC .
Victor Pfaff is a “refugee advisor for the Diakonisches Werk der EKD ” and a “member of the commission for foreigners and ethnic minorities”.
Pfaff ran for the 2019 European elections in 5th place on the list of the small ÖkoLinX party , which could not win a seat.
