Vierbuchermühle is a village in the town of Waldbröl in the Oberbergisches Kreis in southern North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ) within the administrative district of Cologne .

The place is about eight kilometers southeast of the city center.

history

The place was mentioned for the first time in 1576 in the "Directory of Mills in the Homburg Lordship". The spelling of the first mention was Mühle zu Vierbuchen .

Events

Every year at the end of September, the big Oktoberfest weekend takes place on the fairground in Vierbuchermühle. The Saturday has a special tradition with festivals to which numerous counter and hobby teams from the Oberbergischer Kreis travel to compete in various games of skill and strength.
