Viktorina Kapitonova
Viktorina Kapitonova ( Russian Викторина Капитонова ; born June 30, 1985 in Cheboksary ) is a Russian ballerina . Since 2009 she has been working as principal soloist with the Ballet Zurich .

The Russian Viktorina Kapitonova studied at the Kazan Ballet School and the Bolshoi Theater Academy in Moscow . She was the winner of the “Young Russian Ballet” competition and the Arabesque competition in 2008. At the Jalilja Opera House in Kazan, she has danced solo parts in Swan Lake , Sleeping Beauty , Don Quixote , La Bayadère , Coppélia and The Nutcracker since 2005 . In the 2008/09 season she was a member of the Stanislavsky Ballet in Moscow.
She has been a member of the Ballet Zurich since 2010 . Here she danced a. a. Odette / Odile in Heinz Spoerli's Swan Lake , solo parts in Spoerlis A Midsummer Night's Dream , Would be this morning and yesterday now, ... and avoided the wind and Goldberg variations, Rosetta in Christian Spuck's Leonce and Lena and the wet nurse in Spuck's Romeo and Juliet . She has also been in choreographies by Yury Grigorovich, Derek Deane, Wayne McGregor , Hans Van Manen, Edward Clug, Patrice Bart , Paul Lightfoot, Nacho Duato , George Balanchine , Mats Ek , William Forsythe , Jiří Kylián , Douglas Lee , Wayne McGregor and Martin Schläpfer to see.
She presented her choreography “Two Bodies - One Soul” as part of the “Young Choreographers” ballet series .
In the 2015 season she played the title role in Christian Spuck's Anna Karenina . She will dance the lead role in Giselle for the first time with star guests Roberto Bolle and Friedemann Vogel.
In the 2015 season Kapitonova won the Dance Prize of the Friends of Ballet Zurich 2014/15.
