Vincent Dollmann (born August 19, 1964 in Mulhouse , Alsace , France ) is a French Roman Catholic clergyman and Archbishop of Cambrai .

Life

Vincent Dollmann studied at the seminary of Strasbourg and received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Strasbourg on June 24, 1990 . After initially working as a chaplain at the youth seminary in Walbourg until 1996 , he became spiritual at the seminary in Strasbourg. During this time (1996–2009) Dollmann was also a preacher and confessor at the Strasbourg Cathedral and a member of the Diocesan Office for Catholic Education. From 2009 to 2012 he worked in Rome for the French Pontifical Seminary and the Congregation for Catholic Education .

On July 25, 2012, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . the titular bishop of Cursola and ordered him auxiliary bishop in Strasbourg. The Archbishop of Strasbourg, Jean-Pierre Grallet OFM , donated him episcopal ordination on September 2nd of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the archivist and librarian of the Holy Roman Church , Archbishop Jean-Louis Bruguès OP , and the Auxiliary Bishop in Strasbourg, Christian Kratz .

Pope Francis appointed him Coadjutor Archbishop of Cambrai on May 25, 2018 . With François Garnier's death on August 15, 2018, he succeeded him as Archbishop of Cambrai.
