Vincent Louis Marie Landel SCI di Béth (born August 25, 1941 in Meknes , Morocco ) is retired Archbishop of Rabat .

Life

Vincent Louis Marie Landel joined the Order of the Priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and was ordained a priest on June 29, 1969 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him coadjutor archbishop of Rabat on December 3, 1999 . The Archbishop of Rabat, Hubert Louis Marie Félix Michon , donated him episcopal ordination on February 26 of the next year ; Co- consecrators were Domenico De Luca , Apostolic Nuncio in Morocco , and Henri Teissier , Archbishop of Algiers .

On May 5, 2001 he succeeded Hubert Louis Marie Félix Michons as Archbishop of Rabat after the resignation. On December 29, 2017, Pope Francis accepted his resignation for reasons of age.
