Vincent Regan
Vincent Regan (born May 16, 1965 in Swansea , Wales ) is a British actor who became internationally known for his role in 300 as Leonidas' captain.
Life
Vincent Regan is the son of Irish immigrants. When he was 18 years old he returned to Ireland with his parents . From that point on he began to appear in television productions - mainly in Ireland and the UK. In recent years he has appeared in the television series Hustle , Plan Man , Messiah II and Rescue Me .
In 1999 Regan received an “Irish Best Actor” nomination for his performance on the award-winning television series Eureka Street . He also appeared in the television productions The Bible - Jeremiah , Murphy's Law and Call Red .
He has also appeared in feature films such as The Point Men or A Very Ordinary Thief - Ordinary Decent Criminal . Regan was also cast in Troy with Brad Pitt, in the adventure comedy Ritter Jamal - A Black Comedy alongside Martin Lawrence and in Luc Besson's Johanna von Orleans and in Unleashed - Unleashed with Jet Li. His most famous role is that of the captain in the movie 300 .
Regan also starred in miniseries such as the 2009 remake of number 6 , the 2010 four-part BBC miniseries The Christmas Story - The Greatest Miracle Ever , based on the New Testament story of the birth of Jesus of Nazareth as Herod and 2012 hit & Miss next to Chloë Sevigny .
In addition to acting, Regan works as a screenwriter and director (Miss June) . He has his own film company.
Private life
Since 2001 Regan has been married to Amelia Curtis, who is also an actress. In 2006 the couple had a daughter. In 2012, the two parents of a son. The daughter Chloe Regan comes from a previous relationship.
