Vincenzo Carmine Orofino
Vincenzo Carmine Orofino (born July 8, 1953 in San Severino Lucano , Province of Potenza , Italy ) is an Italian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Tursi-Lagonegro .
Life
Vincenzo Carmine Orofino received on 4 October 1980, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On March 20, 2004, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Tricarico . The Apostolic Nuncio in Italy, Archbishop Paolo Romeo , donated him episcopal ordination on May 15 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Potenza-Muro Lucano-Marsico Nuovo , Agostino Superbo , and the Bishop of Tursi-Lagonegro , Francescantonio Nolè OFMConv .
Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Tursi-Lagonegro on April 28, 2016. The inauguration took place on June 25 of the same year.
