Francescantonio Nolè
Francescantonio Nolè OFMConv (born June 9, 1948 in Potenza , Italy ) is a Roman Catholic clergyman and Archbishop of Cosenza-Bisignano .
Life
Francescantonio Nolè joined the religious order of the Minorites and the Bishop of Sessa Aurunca , Vittorio Maria Costantini OFMConv, ordained him on September 2, 1973 as a priest .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Tursi-Lagonegro on November 4, 2000 . The Pro-Prefect of the Congregation for Bishops and President of the Pontifical Commission for Latin America , Giovanni Battista Re , donated him episcopal ordination on December 10th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Gioacchino Illiano , Bishop of Nocera Inferiore-Sarno , and Ennio Appignanesi , Archbishop of Potenza-Muro Lucano-Marsico Nuovo . As a motto he chose In simplicitate et laetitia . The inauguration took place in the diocese of Tursi-Lagonegro on January 7 of the next year.
On May 15, 2015, Pope Francis appointed him Archbishop of Cosenza-Bisignano . The inauguration took place on July 4th of the same year.
