In March 2018, the cast of Justin Theroux was announced, as well as Olivia Munn , who took over the title role from Violet Calder. Luke Bracey joined the cast in July 2018 .

The film was due to be shown at the South by Southwest Film Festival in March 2020 and will celebrate its world premiere here, but this was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
