Vitória do Xingu , officially Portuguese Município de Vitória do Xingu , is a Brazilian municipality in the state of Pará in the greater region of Região Norte . The population was estimated as of July 1, 2019 at 15,134 inhabitants, who live on a municipal area of around 3089.5 km² and are called Vitorienser ( vitorienses ). Mathematically, this results in a population density of 4.3 people per km². It ranks 121st out of 144 municipalities in the state. The capital Belém is about 856 km away.
Vitória do Xingu is part of the diocese of Xingu-Altamira, established on November 6, 2019 .
