Many of the works were created with his partner and wife, the Brazilian graffiti artist Jana Joana (* 1978 in São Paulo), with whom he realizes wall projects and participates in exhibitions.

Life

1987 first works in public space. Vitché shows his art in many countries in Europe, Latin America and the USA. He describes his work as political, lyrical and abstract. f

“Vitché is probably one of the real heroes of everyday life. He tirelessly fights a great dragon. In the case of the São Paulo-born artist, the monstrosity is life in the big city with all its hierarchies and institutionalization. The rigid organization of the urban living environment makes us more functioning and consuming passer-by than a community with an awareness of our own social identity. "

- Nadine Maslonka: Urban Art: Works from the Reinking Collection . Hatje Cantz, Ostfildern 2009.

Projects

Vitché and his partner Jana took part in the ARTotale project at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg in 2009 . 36 international street artists were invited to the city.

Mural Global

As part of Mural Global , a worldwide Wandmalprojekt to Agenda 21 , Vitché realized in 2001, together with the Brazilian graffiti artists Os Gêmeos , Herbert Baglione and Nina Pandolfo and with the German graffiti artists DAIM , Loomit , Codeak and Tasek , a 300 m² mural in São Paulo. The mural is located under a viaduct of the Beneficência Portuguesa hospital on Avenida 23 de Maio and includes the theme of air, earth, water and fire . 80 murals have so far been created as part of the Mural Global mural project .

An initiative of Farbfieber eV Düsseldorf, under the patronage of UNESCO . The project was awarded the Socioculture Innovation Prize 2002 by the Socioculture Fund.
