Sign of the times . Otto-Schumann-Weg, Hamburg-Lohbrügge (Bergedorf)

Loomit was one of the artists of the wall design signs of the times . The work got an entry in the Guinness Book of Records for the highest graffito in the world. Together with Darco , DAIM , Hesh and others, under the organizational direction of Lothar Knode, the graffito of a total of 300 m² was created in December 1995 on a high-rise facade in Hamburg-Lohbrügge . The artists needed 1000 spray cans for the 30 meter high and 11 meter wide work of art. It shows a composition of text and picture elements as well as quotations from masterpieces of wall painting.

Mural Global

As part of Mural Global , a worldwide Wandmalprojekt to Agenda 21 , realized Loomit in 2001, together with the Brazilian graffiti artists Os Gêmeos , Vitché , Herbert Baglione and Nina Pandolfo and with the German graffiti artists DAIM , Codeak and Tasek , a 300 m² mural in São Paulo. The mural is located under a viaduct of the Beneficência Portuguesa hospital on Avendia 23 de Maio and includes the theme of air, earth, water and fire .

Travels and influences on local scenes

Loomit traveled to countless countries to leave murals there. He shaped and influenced countless graffiti sprayers around the world. BG138 from the Tats crew confirmed in an interview that Europe is more progressive in some respects, for example also with regard to the 3D style and a very cooperative way of working, as characterized by Loomit and DAIM . Crome, a well-known Miami writer, talks about meeting Loomit and being impressed by how much planning he puts into his work. Miami writer Pest talks about how Loomit and DAIM came to Miami and brought (German) Belton spray cans with them. This changed the color palette of the domestic writers.
