Baglione is best known for its expressive, simplified street scenes. Often placed on roofs and road surfaces and can therefore mostly only be viewed from the air in their entirety. His images show obesity and painful anorexia - extremes of human form, simplified dramatic and iconic human symbols, stretched to the extreme and rounded. They illustrate his interest in extremes and human imperfection. Baglione is constantly changing and developing the aesthetics and imagery, although he retains his figurative theme. He works almost exclusively with a monotonous color palette of black, white and gold tones. Every now and then Baglione's work shows strongly minimalist, simplifying tendencies, which, however, go hand in hand with calligraphic elements and his refined, clearly recognizable style.
“The most important thing for an artist is that he awakens the desire and joy in the viewer to learn more about him. Purely aesthetic beauty is not enough. "
“With the basic idea of improvisation, I try to work with both materials and surfaces. I don't like doing the same thing over and over or doing things the same way. "
Projects
