Viva (proper spelling: V! VA or VIVA ) is a German rock band from Franconia . She is currently under contract with the Rookies & Kings label .

Band history

Viva was founded in 2016 initially as a pure German rock cover band . The band covered exclusively German rock music by bands such as Ärzte , Broilers , Böhse Onkelz , Die Kassierer , Dimple Minds , Die Toten Hosen , Frei.Wild , Hämatom , In Extremo , Saltatio Mortis , Sportfreunde Stiller , Rammstein and Unantastbar .

The band then began to write their own songs. The first single was the track No Escape , which was released in November 2018. This made the record company Rookies & Kings aware of the group and announced the collaboration in December 2019. The first common single Fick dich, Viva! was released on December 27, 2019. It was followed by the single Lifelong on March 6, 2020 and our own army on April 24 . In the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic in Germany , the non-album track Fick Dich Corona , a remake of their first single, was also released on March 19, 2020 . The proceeds went to the emergency aid fund of the German Red Cross .

On May 1, 2020, the band released their debut album Lifelong . The album was produced by Jörg "Warthy" Wartmann , who worked with bands such as Unheilig , Eisbrecher and Hämatom.
