Viva Max! is an American comedy film directed by Jerry Paris from 1969. It is based on the novel Viva Max! by James Lehrer , who published it in 1966.

A group of Mexican mercenaries, led by General Maximilian, who wants to prove to his girlfriend what a great guy he is, marches on highways and trunk roads towards the Fort Alamo in order to conquer it. The tourists think the process is a show, the authorities are confused and the US Army is trying to prevent it using all available technology.
