Vladimir Volkov ( Serbian - Cyrillic Владимир Волков , born June 6, 1986 in Belgrade ) is a Montenegrin football player who also has Serbian citizenship. He plays as a defender for FK Radnički Niš .
Career
society
He began playing football at the age of seven at the amateur club FK Radnički Belgrade . After initially playing in the third division clubs FK Radnički Belgrade (2004/2005) and FK Železničar Belgrade (2005/2006), he moved to the second division club FK BSK Borča in 2006 , from where he was loaned to the Portuguese club Portimonense SC for a few months in 2008 . In the 2008/2009 season he moved to OFK Belgrade and in 2009 to Sheriff Tiraspol in the Republic of Moldova / Transnistria . For the 2011/2012 season he moved to the Serbian champions FK Partizan Belgrade . In the summer of 2015 he moved to Belgium for KV Mechelen . In January 2016 he was sent to Poland to Lech Poznan awarded. From summer 2016 he was without a club for six months before FK Radnički Niš signed him at the beginning of 2017 .
National team
In 2011 he was appointed to the Serbian national soccer team, where he played a friendly against Honduras on November 15, 2011 . After, according to Volkov, the Serbian Association showed no further interest in him, he decided in May 2012 to accept an appointment to the Montenegrin national football team . There he made his debut in a friendly against Belgium on May 26, 2012.

Vladimir Volkov has Russian great-grandparents who emigrated to Serbia in 1917.
