Vogelweh is a district of Kaiserslautern and is located in the west of the city.

Large parts of the population are US citizens who live in the Vogelweh Housing Area , a settlement for members of the US military and their relatives. The Vogelweh Housing Area, the construction of which began in the 1950s when the US military was stationed in Kaiserslautern and the surrounding area, is part of the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC).

In the Vogelweh district is the former railway repair shop of Deutsche Bahn AG , which was privatized and now belongs to the Swedish Euromaint group.

Vogelweh can be reached very easily by car (junction KL-West of the A6 and B270 ), but also with the city buses of the SWK or the RheinNeckar S-Bahn . Until 1985 Vogelweh was also the western terminus of the former trolleybus in Kaiserslautern .
