The vocal ensemble currently consists of 26 singers: seven sopranos and six altos  / six tenors and seven basses .

repertoire

The VoicesInTime repertoire is broad and ranges from small ensembles to polyphonic choral movements, from poetry settings of Goethe and Shakespeare to dialect and joke compositions to choir cover versions by Bon Jovi , Robbie Williams , Take That , den Ärzten , Stevie Wonder or Rammstein . The choir almost always sings a cappella , but occasionally uses individual acoustic instruments; Sometimes the choir director and conductor Stefan Kalmer plays the violin himself, or one of the singers accompanies the choir on the guitar. VoicesInTime mostly sing by heart at their concerts. With choreographic effects, vocally imitated percussion sounds (“ beatboxing ”) and rhythmic rap passages, the choir crosses the boundaries of classical choral music in some songs.
