Volkmannsdorf is a parish village in the municipality of Wang in the Upper Bavarian district of Freising .
The St 2015 runs along the southern edge of the village and the Munich – Regensburg railway line runs parallel to it . Below the bridge to Volkmannsdorferau , the Amper flows into the Isar . Immediately before the confluence, the Klötzlmühlbach is derived from the Amper.
The parish of Volkmannsdorf has around 950 Catholics. Their territory extends over much of the Wang Political Community.

The place was until 1803 the seat of a chairman of the Isareck office in the district court of Moosburg . The parish church in Volkmannsdorf is consecrated to St. Laurentius and dates partly from the 15th century.
