history
Volksbank Metzingen was founded in 1867 under the name “Gewerbebank Metzingen”. Significant milestones were a. the merger of Volksbank Metzingen eG with Volksbank Bad Urach eG in 2000 to form Volksbank Metzingen-Bad Urach eG and the merger of Volksbank Metzingen-Bad Urach eG with VR-Bank Alb eG in 2015 to form what is now Volksbank Ermstal-Alb eG. In 2018 the Raiffeisenbank Vordere Alb eG merged with the Volksbank Ermstal-Alb.
