history
Originally a partnership between Volksmusik.TV and Auto-Moto-TV was planned. Finally, Volksmusik.TV started solo on February 15, 2007 with a 24-hour program. Primarily, a program with folk music and folk music was broadcast , which was created in cooperation with various commissioned producers.
In the course of a repositioning, the station was renamed from Volksmusik.TV to Deutsches Musik Fernsehen on February 1, 2011. Successful programs continued unchanged. In order to drastically increase its technical range, the broadcaster decided to broadcast its program via an Astra satellite.
On May 1, 2013, the station was relaunched. Modern Schlager music videos found their way. In addition to new transmitter packaging, a new program scheme was also launched that takes account of changed viewing habits. Popular titles are in the program during the day. Instrumental pieces are played at lunchtime. The afternoon and evening belong to the classic German hit . From 22:00 onwards, repetitions of the daily program are mainly broadcast.
In March 2018 the series "Amigos-TV" started, moderated by Ingo Blenn. The hit duo Die Amigos broadcasts a 90-minute program for their fans here every week. The program accompanies the band at their concerts and fan meetings and is also involved in the production of new music tracks.
