Full wheel by Krosigk (1612–1660)
Vollrad (also: Volrad, Vollrath ) von Krosigk (born March 20, 1612 in Merbitz , † January 12, 1660 in Rathmannsdorf ) was an imperial colonel sergeant and a member of the larger estate committee.
Life
Vollrad von Krosigk came from the noble family Krosigk . He was the eldest son of Gebhard Friedrich von Krosigk (1579-1630) from his first marriage to Catharina, born in 1608, born von Veltheim († 1620). His brothers were Matthias von Krosigk (1616–1697), Jacob Anton von Krosigk (1624–1704) and Ludolf Lorenz von Krosigk (1627–1673).
After homeschooling with his father, he studied at the grammar school in Halle under Christian Gueintz . In 1630 he went to the University of Leipzig . In the same year he dropped out of studies after the death of his father. 1631 he went in military service from the Pike on to Saxon Lt. and after 1635 as imperial Obrist Sergeant. After being wounded in the war, he was often bedridden in Rathmannsdorf from 1640 onwards. In 1648 he was accepted into the Fruitful Society under the company name of the Necessary .
