Voultegon is a village in the French department of Deux-Sèvres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The residents call themselves Voultegonnais. The formerly independent municipality was merged with Saint-Clémentin to form Commune nouvelle Voulmentin with effect from January 1, 2013 . Since then it has had the status of a Commune déléguée and has 593 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017). Neighboring towns are Saint-Clémentin in the north, La Coudre in the northeast, Saint-Aubin-du-Plain in the east, Bressuire in the south, Bretignolles in the southwest and Nueil-les-Aubiers in the west.
