The Vouzance is a river in France that runs in the Allier department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises in the municipal area of Loddes , initially drains in an easterly direction, then swings to the northeast and north and flows into the Loire as a left tributary after 41 kilometers below Molinet . In the area of the mouth, the Vouzance crosses under the Canal latéral à la Loire , which here accompanies the Loire as a side canal .
