development

The three 2'B wheel arrangement locomotives were manufactured by Norris in Philadelphia . They had a round standing kettle , which was arranged between the two driving axles. The external cylinders were attached to the front end of the boiler at the level of the front running axles mounted in a bogie .

The open driver's cab ended at the side with the outer edge of the frame and was therefore quite narrow. The wheel arch of the rear coupling axle protruded. The locomotives were rebuilt during their service life and retired in the 1870s.
