Wael Nader al-Halki ( Arabic وائل نادر الحلقي, DMG Wāʾil Nādir al-Ḥalqī , * 1964 in Dschasim, Dar'a ) is a Syrian politician of Sunni- Islamic faith. From 2012 to 2016 he was Prime Minister of Syria.

Wael al-Halki studied medicine, gynecology and obstetrics at the University of Damascus . From April 14, 2011 to 2012, he served as Minister of Health. On August 9, 2012, he succeeded Riyad Farid Hijab or his transitional successor Omar Ghalawandschi as Prime Minister under President Bashar al-Assad . He was succeeded by Emad Chamis in June 2016.

He is a leading member of the Ba'ath Party and its ruling coalition, the National Progress Front .
