Waldemar Grosch

Waldemar Grosch (* 1958 in Krappitz ) is a German historian .

Life

He attended the elementary school Eschelbach (Montabaur) and the Staatl. Gymnasium Montabaur , high school diploma in 1976. From 1976 to 1980 he was a temporary soldier , training as an officer (airborne artillery) Colonel of the reserve. From 1980 to 1986 he studied history, German and Catholic theology in Mainz and Dijon ; Study visit to Krakow . In 1986 he passed the scientific examination for teaching at grammar schools (history, German), extension examination cath. Religion. From 1987 to 1988 he completed the preparatory service for the teaching post at grammar schools (history, German, Catholic religion) at the study seminar Bad Kreuznach , independent teaching at the Stefan-George grammar school , second state examination for the teaching post at grammar schools. From 1988 to 1990 he studied in Münster .

From 1988 to 1991 he was a research assistant at the Institute for Comparative Urban History . From 1991 to 1994 he taught as a teacher at the Elisabeth-Langgässer-Gymnasium (history, German, Catholic religion). From 1994 to 2003 he was a teacher (2000 senior teacher ) ae H. of History at Freiburg University .

After completing his doctorate in Eastern European history in 2000 at the University of Mainz ( Erwin Oberländer ), he has been teaching since 2003 as a professor (C 3) for history and its didactics, with a focus on modern history and contemporary history at the PH Weingarten .
