Waldheim is a small place in the municipality of Kammeltal in the Swabian district of Günzburg .

Waldheim is located east of Ried on the GZ 1 district road on the Riedel between the valleys of the Kammel and the Krähenbach .

history

After the Second World War, Waldheim was founded by expellees on the former bomb training site east of Ried . Before the regional reform in Bavaria , Waldheim was part of the municipality of Ried. When this community merged with six other communities to form the Kammeltal community on July 1, 1972 , Waldheim also became part of this new community.
