Walter Berka (born March 29, 1948 in Saalfelden ) is an Austrian lawyer and university professor . Berka has been professor of general political theory , administrative theory , and constitutional and administrative law at the University of Salzburg since 1994 . He is particularly well known as the author of one of the standard textbooks on Austrian constitutional law.

Walter Berka was born on March 29, 1948 in Saalfelden in the Austrian state of Salzburg into a merchant family.
