Walther model 1

The Walther Model 1 pistol was the first pistol developed by Carl Walther in Zella St. Blasii .

history

The pistol was manufactured in 1908 and 1909. Approximately 31,000 Model 1s were made.

The pistol was delivered with hard rubber grip scales as standard. It was also available with ivory handle scales at an additional cost. The gun has a rigid barrel.

Model 1 was produced in two variants. Version 1 has 17 grooves on the slide. On the right side of the slide is the inscription "Walthers Patent" and on the left side "Selbstladepistole Cal. 6.35 ". Version 2 has 12 grooves on the slide. On the left side of the slide is the inscription “Self-loading pistol Cal. 6.35 Walther's Patent “.
