The Walther Model 2 pistol is a self-loading pistol made by the German gun manufacturer Carl Walther .

history

The Walther Model 2 pistol was manufactured from 1902 to 1910 by the Carl Walther arms factory in Zella-Mehlis-St. Blasii made. The standard version was burnished. Upon request, the pistol was also available with a nickel-plated surface. Instead of the hard rubber grips, it was also possible to get the pistol with ivory or wooden grips. The pistol has a rigid barrel and a charge level indicator. The slide has nine inclined grip grooves. The ejector window is on the right side of the slide. The slide is labeled "Carl Walther Waffenfabrik Zella-St. Blasii" on the right. On the left is "Self-loading pistol Cal 6.35 Walther's patent" above the Walther loop. Around 19,000 pistols of this type were produced.
