Walther U. Unger

Walther U. Unger (also: Walther Unger ; born March 1, 1876 in Hanover ; † in December 1929 in Berlin ) was a German conductor , conductor and piano dealer.

Life

Walter U. Unger was born in Hanover during the early days of the German Empire as the son of the architect, urban planner and building writer Theodor Unger .

After studying music, Unger worked as a conductor. From 1900 to 1901 one worked in Bydgoszcz , from 1902 to 1903 in Munich , from 1903 to 1918 in Metz , from 1918 to 1920 in Frankfurt am Main , from 1924 to 1926 in Kiel and from 1926 in Berlin. There he managed the Berlin branch of the Braunschweig-based piano maker Grotrian-Steinweg .
