Warminster Township is a township in Bucks County in the US state of Pennsylvania . In 2000 Warminster had 31,383 inhabitants. The township is named after the homonymous place Warminster in the county of Wiltshire in England .

The Warminster station of the same name is the eastern terminus of the regional line R2 of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA).

Demographics

At the time of the United States Census 2000, Warminster inhabited 31,383 people. The population density was 1182.2 people per km ². There were 11,644 housing units at an average of 438.6 per km². The population consisted of 91.00% of White , 3.31% Black or African American , 0.11% Native American , 1.99% Asian , 0.06% Pacific Islander , 2.21% said other races to belong and 1.32% named two or more races. 4.63% of the population declared to be Hispanic or Latinos of any race.
