The Wasserkruger Moor is a former nature reserve in the Lower Saxon communities of Großenwörden , Engelschoff and Hammah in the combined community of Oldendorf-Himmelpforten in the Stade district .

The nature reserve with the registration NSG LÜ 160 was 38.4  hectares . Most of it was part of the FFH area "Wasserkruger Moor and Willes Heide". The area has been under nature protection since March 16, 1988. On February 17, 2017, it opened up together with the “ Willes Heide ” nature reserve in the newly designated “ Kehdinger Moore ” nature reserve . The responsible lower nature conservation authority was the district of Stade.

The former nature reserve is located in Kehdingen approximately between Drochtersen and Himmelspforten east of Engelschoff and asked a bog rest area of Kehdinger Moores in the transition zone of the Geest to march the same under protection. In its western area it consists of uncultivated, but heavily drained raised bog, which is connected to grassland to the northeast and south . The uncultivated bog area is predominantly characterized by birch trees. In addition, vegetation typical of raised bogs can be found in wetter areas.

The area is surrounded by several ditches that partially cut through the grassland areas. It is drained via the trenches towards the Elbe and Oste .
