Wayne Joseph Kirkpatrick

Wayne Joseph Kirkpatrick (born June 5, 1957 in St. Catharines , Canada ) is a Canadian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Antigonish .

Life

Wayne Joseph Kirkpatrick received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Saint Catharines on September 1, 1984 .

On May 18, 2012, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . the titular bishop of Aradi and auxiliary bishop in Toronto . The Archbishop of Toronto, Thomas Cardinal Collins , donated him episcopal ordination on July 25 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the bishop emeritus of Saint Catharines, John Aloysius O'Mara , and the bishop of Saint Catharines, Gerard Paul Bergie . His motto is Abide in me as I abide in you ( Stay in me, then I stay in you ( Joh 15.4  EU ))

Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Antigonish on December 18, 2019. The inauguration took place on February 3 of the following year.
