We Bare Bears is an American animated series by Daniel Chong that has been shown on the pay-TV channel Cartoon Network since July 2015 . The German premiere has been on the Cartoon Network Germany channel since November 8, 2015 . The series has been broadcast on free-to-air television on the Disney Channel since October 10, 2016 .
Production and publication
The series was designed by cartoonist Daniel Chong, who previously worked as a story artist for Pixar and Illumination Entertainment . The show is based on his webcomic The Three Bare Bears , which also features the identifying characters. This webcomic was uploaded online from 2010 to 2011. The show, known as the Comedy, is a production by Cartoon Network Studios , who developed the program with Chong as part of their shorts development program. It was announced in advance of the network in 2014.
Nom Nom and Charlie were initially pronounced by Ken Jeong and Tom Arnold, respectively, before being re-cast at some point before it aired. The visually simplified style of the series was inspired by a classic hand-drawn animation similar to The Peanuts and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh .
The series premiered on November 8, 2015 in Germany with the pilot episode. The animated series first aired in Australia on November 16, 2015. In the UK, the series began on September 7, 2015.

Grizzly , panda and polar bear are three bears that live in a cave outside of town. You need to practice coping with life in the big city . The three also run a video channel on the Internet. The actions are mostly episodic and do not follow a major main story.

- Grizz is a brown grizzly bear who is very adventurous and the oldest of the three brothers. He loves to be the leader of the three bears. He's not always the brightest and sometimes exaggerates, but he loves his brothers more than anything. He's always trying to make new friends. Because of his thirst for adventure, he repeatedly pulls the three friends into dangerous situations.
- Panda is the second oldest of the brothers and is a panda bear . He is often very nervous, insecure and a little scared, he is often on the Internet, likes to play video games and also likes to read manga or watch anime . He is always looking for a girlfriend.
- Polar bear , as its name suggests, is a polar bear . He is the youngest of the three brothers. He takes care of the food for himself and his brothers and runs the household. He likes it cold and therefore lives in the bear's fridge. He's not very talkative, when he usually speaks in monosyllables and mostly stays in the background. In addition, polar bear is proficient in Korean, the pigeon language and some Asian martial arts, which is why he also has various weapons such as throwing stars.
- Charlie is a bigfoot and lives in the woods. He lived with the bears for a short while to hide. At first, the bears found him intrusive and annoying, but now they're good friends.
- Nom Nom is a koala and also a popular internet star. But behind his cute and cuddly appearance there is an anti-social, egoistic being. Nom Nom must always be the focus and always have the last word. He doesn't like the bears at all and uses them mostly for his own purposes.
- Chloe Park is a ten year old Korean-American girl. She is very intelligent, which is why she is already studying in college. She doesn't have many friends besides the bears. She has a penchant for natural history. She is also known as a child prodigy.
