The Weber (also: the volt second ) is the unit of measurement of magnetic flux . It was named after Wilhelm Eduard Weber .

In the outdated CGS system , Mx ( Maxwell ) is the unit of magnetic flux.

Due to the different size systems , however, the difference between the two units is not just one factor (hence the sign ).
