Plant and history

The small pillar is made of granite and was probably erected by the city of Quedlinburg at a suburban crossing point around 1900. It bears inscriptions on two sides that refer to nearby places. On one side it is stated: Wegeleben 10.1 Harsleben 9.5 Halberstadt 13.4 . On the other side it says: Ditfurt 5.3 . The figures are kilometers . Under each of the inscriptions there is an arrow indicating the direction.
