Weißenhasel is a district of the municipality Nentershausen in the district of Hersfeld-Rotenburg in Hesse .

Weißenhasel is located on the Richelsdorf Mountains . It is north of the main town. State road 3249 runs through the village .

The place was first mentioned in 1195 under the place name Hasolo .

On December 31, 1971, the previously independent place Weißenhasel was incorporated into the municipality of Nentershausen.

There is a village community center and a cemetery in the village .
