Rainer Schnaitmann winery
The Rainer Schnaitmann winery is located in the Baden-Württemberg town of Fellbach in the German wine-growing region Württemberg . It produces 70,000 bottles per year on 10.2 hectares of vineyards and is a member of the Association of German Predicate and Quality Wineries .
history
The winery was founded in 1997 by Rainer Schnaitmann, who comes from a family with almost 500 years of experience in viticulture. In 2006 the winery was included in the Association of German Prädikats- und Qualitätweingüter e. V. (VDP) included.
Vineyards and grape varieties
The core of the vineyard's cultivated vineyards are the Fellbacher Lämmler and Fellbacher Goldberg sites . They are supplemented by vineyards in Stuttgart (see Viticulture in Stuttgart ), in the Remstal and in the Zabergäu .
The 10.2 hectares of vineyards are divided into the following grape varieties: 20% Trollinger , 17% Riesling , 16% Pinot Noir , 14% Lemberger , 12% Black Riesling , 6% each of Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc . Other varieties such as Samtrot , Gelber Muskateller , Muskat-Trollinger , Dornfelder , Müller-Thurgau and Gewürztraminer are grown on the remaining 9% .
