Wellington Aleixo dos Santos , called Wellington Saci , (born January 5, 1985 in Treze de Maio , Santa Catarina ), is a Brazilian football player . The left foot predominantly plays in defensive midfield, but is also used in defense.

Career

Wellington Saci is said to have started his career at the Clube Municipal Ananindeua from Ananindeua . After starting out in smaller clubs, he joined the Série B Club Corinthians São Paulo in 2008 at the age of twenty-three . With this, he was in the season champion and managed to move up to the Series A . In 2009 he won the Copa do Brasil with the club . He was then loaned out quickly and stayed with hardly any team for more than a season. In December 2019, Saci was announced as a renewed engagement by Joinville EC . At the club, he was already active 2014-15 and was able in 2014 to win the championship in the Série B.
