The Campeonato Brasileiro Série B 2008 was the 29th season of Brazil's second soccer league .

The competition started its season on May 9, 2008 and ended on November 28, 2008. The championship was organized by the national association CBF . At the end of the season, the Corinthians São Paulo celebrated the championship. The club won the first six games and never left the top of the table. The promotion took place in round 32, six games before the end of the season. They became champions two rounds later.
