The 1985 Taça de Prata was the eighth season of Brazil's second soccer league .

Season course

The competition started its new season on February 2, 1985 and ended on April 7, 1985. The championship was organized by the national association CBF .

At the end of the season, the Tuna Luso Brasileira was able to celebrate the championship and qualify for the first division in 1986 .

The competition was held in four group phases. All matches were played back and forth. The winner of the last round became champion.
